I (Pavan, Bangalore Coordinator, TMAD) forwarded the earlier Dr Prescriptions from Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad and Chennai Cancer Institute to Dr.Dayanand (Cardiologist, Narayana Hrudayalaya). He forwarded to Dr.Anuradha Rao (Dermatologist, NH Hospitals), she asked me to bring that boy last Thursday. Due to lack of time, Bhargav came yester day for consultation. I accompanied him. We consulted Dr.Anuradha Rao and Dr.Moni (Head of Oncology-Head & Neck Surgery). Dr.Moni said that it is curable and need to be operated asap. They will use the skin from his thigh for operation. I did not get a chance to talk to Dr.Moni regarding operation because he was planning to leave to Kochi. He will be back on Tuesday. As per his assistants, the cost of operation may be around *Rs. 2 Lakhs*. I will talk to Dr. Moni and request for concession.
Please consider this as high priority case and forward this to ur friends for contributions.

Update as on March 2nd:
Doctors discussed about the Bhargav’s operation and called me today to give updates.
As per Dr Moni (Surgeon), kind of plastic surgery to be done for nose rather than free flap reconstruction by removing the skin from boy’s thigh as per earlier decision.
They will put one plastic nose after removing that tumor on nose by using 3 or 4 screws which cost around Rs.15k each. Flap reconstruction will be done on other parts of the face. The total cost of the operation will be around Rs.1.5 Lakhs. As they have to buy these screws from outside, they can not give concession for the operation.
We need to pay at least Rs.1L to start the operation. Out of which 40k is promised from Boy’s uncle. Will keep you posted of further updates and any other contributions.
Update from Pavan:
Bhargav is coming to Mazumdar Shaw cancer hospital, Bangalore on Wednesday (17-03-10).
We are going to pay Rs.1L out of Rs.1.5L to start the operation.
I request Prasad garu who posted comment on 22nd Feb and contributed Rs. 3000 for this case, to mail us his contact details so that we can send the receipt and also send updates related to this case.
19th March: Update from Pavan
Hi All,
Bhargav came to Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Hospital to join for operation. I accompanied him yesterday, came to office at 8 PM, so unable to update u all. He underwent Blood and Urine test, CT scan, ECG etc to assess his fitness. As he has some infection in nose, Doctors advised medication for 1 week. Due to un availability of Senior Surgeon Dr. Moni from next Monday onwards, Bhargav has to revisit on April 5th.
We only supported for all these tests (Rs. 5515). Bhargav left home today. They will send all the documents tomorrow to me, then I will share with u.
